Last date for linking number from February 6th
The Central Government has placed the last date for filing of Aadhaar with the Mobile Number on February 6, 2018. Mobile companies have asked UIDAI for some more time for this process. UIDAI has laid deadline November 30 for the OTP-based verification system. The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has told the UIDAI and the Department of Telecommunications that it is not possible to prepare the OTP based revision process till November 30. The process is very long and it should be given a little more time. COAI Director General Rajan Mathew said, "After the change in customer acquisition norm, the companies should have at least 4-6 weeks time required for technological change, and then the revision will be done through OTP."
